Kicking off a fresh color palette (with colors like Deep Garnet and Acid Gold) for HTC, the 5-inch A9 also introduces the Android Marshmallow OS and the Snapdragon 617 split-octa-core 64-bit CPU (with a 3GB RAM) to the brand's flagship One series. Further down its specs list, we found a 13-megapixel sapphire-protected camera, an UltraPixel selfie cam, and an up-to-2TB memory expansion support (32GB internal storage). It is powered by a 2150mAh battery whose Quick Charge 2.0 feature is lined up for a direct upgrade to v3.0.

Advantages

1. We are talking about an above-average screen, making it a phablet: 5 inches and a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels means about 10.68 square inches and an image sharpness of at least 440.37 dots per inch (DPI)!
2. Superior photo resolution - 13-megapixel - with these features: Hyperlapse (12x speed-up), Pro Mode.
3. The following accessories are included: HTC Dot View Ice, HTC Clear Shield, HTC Active Earphones, HTC Pro Studio Earphones, HTC Dual Port Car Charger, HTC Rapid Charger 2.0.

Disadvantages

1. The One A9 can record fancy (1920 x 1080 pixels) movies. Great! But we couldn't confirm whether it had an HDMI port or not. HDMI, which lets you connect to an HDTV, is not essential, but would be great on an HD phone.
2. We were not able to find this phone's SAR rating. Therefore, we cannot tell you how close to the limit it is.
3. We're glad the One A9 sports a gigahertz CPU (1.5GHz + 1.2GHz) but, the only information we could find on the RAM is that it is around 3GB. The RAM being the working memory of your phone, we are worried that it might end up being too sluggish for some tasks.
